In three simple steps, your truck bed can be coated with a tough, textured polyurethane coating, similar to professional spray-on flooring. It provides a durable, slip-resistant protective coating that prevents rust and won’t crack or peel.

The Herculiner kit includes:

• 1 gallon Herculiner (3.78L)
• 1 application brush
• 2 rollers + 1 roller holder
• 1 pc. sanding pad

Step 1

Ensure the surface is prepared according to the instructions in this offer. The surface must be clean, dry, non-glossy, and free of rust or flaking paint before applying the product.

Step 2

Stir Herculiner thoroughly before and during use. This helps keep the rubber particles in suspension and ensures even application.

Apply the first coat with the included roller. Use the included brush to reach hard-to-reach areas.

Step 3

After applying the first coat, wait until Herculiner has set (approx. 3-4 hours) or is no longer tacky. After applying the second coat, allow it to cure for at least 24 hours before light use and 3-5 days before heavy use.

Tips from experienced users:

•  Watching videos online (YouTube) will really help you understand the installation instructions.
•  Complete ALL preparations! Sand, clean, degrease with thinner and a cloth!
•  Two coats worked well and I still have about 1/4 gallon left.
•  Wear gloves! Herculiner is wonderful, but also awful—it’s incredibly difficult to remove from anything!
•  There’s a reason this set includes a brush and rollers. Every tool you use will be a sacrifice. You’ll have to throw away everything you use because there’s no way to clean it.

Efficiency

1 can is enough to cover a standard 1.8m pickup bed.

Application at low temperatures

Herculiner can be applied at temperatures between 0°C and 35°C. However, the lower the temperature and lower the humidity, the longer the curing process takes.

Painting

Herculiner can be painted, although it is best to use a polyurethane-based paint.

• One liter of acetone or similar thinner solution (used for surface preparation).
• Disposable gloves.
