Carburetor, Throttle Body and Throttle Valve Cleaner

Quickly dissolves gum, varnish, fuel residue, and other deposits from the carburetor, PCV valve, throttle valve, carburetor mechanism, throttle body, and distributor shaft, helping ensure maximum performance and fuel economy.

Applications:

DO NOT USE IN DIESEL ENGINES!

Carburetor and Linkages: Remove the air filter and run the engine at high speed. Spray directly into the carburetor throat and rotor in short bursts until clean. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool. Spray the linkages and choke. Allow to dry before restarting.

Throttle Body: With the engine off, disconnect the intake hose at the throttle body. Place a cloth beneath the throttle body opening to catch any runoff. Start the engine. In short bursts, spray directly into the throttle body to saturate resin and carbon deposits on the throttle plate and adjacent surfaces. It may be necessary to increase engine speed to prevent stalling. Turn off the engine and reconnect the intake hose. Start the engine and allow it to reach normal operating temperature.

Other Applications: Use as a starting fluid for hard-to-start gasoline engines. For a PCV valve with a stuck plunger, disconnect the PCV hose and spray into the valve; then reconnect the hose and start the engine. Spray at the base of the heater, distributor shaft, pushrods, and valve guides to facilitate easy removal.
